 | Writing for College Workshop Saturday, 6 March (08:00 AM) | | | On March 6, at Cherry Hall on WKUs campus, we are offering
our Writing for College workshop. It is designed for college bound sophomores, juniors and seniors. Topics include the basics of essay writing; writing scholarship, entrance, and special program application essays; writing timed essays for ACT, SAT, and AP; and how to write all types of letters request, cover, recommendation. In addition, student participants will write a timed essay at the end of the session, which will be returned with comments to the participant. Some comments from past Writing for College participants: I enjoyed how much we
learned, and that we received the opportunity to write an essay of our own, and I thought the information was very good and I feel I can really use it in my future writing to make it the best it can be.
